COLLABORATION DESIGN INTERVIEW

"The most important part of interior design"
The most challenging part of interior design is not the form, but the atmosphere.
Travel allows him to transcend time and space, experiencing diverse materials and spatial sensations; reading brings knowledge, and taste is cultivated through that knowledge.
These sources of inspiration enrich his attention to detail, enabling him to express something truly distinctive in his work and fueling his creative vision.

"How to Gain Inspiration"
“I enjoy traveling. Experiencing different city cultures and street architecture allows me to observe diverse spaces and spark creative ideas. The logic of architecture is closely connected to elements of interior design—for example, window openings or the division of eaves can be beautifully transformed into wardrobes and bookshelves.

The emphasis in design lies in...

From a single object, other pieces grow out — a cabinet extends into a dining table, which then evolves into a sofa...
We want to blur the boundaries between movable and built-in furniture.
Our bed frames and study daybeds are designed with this very same concept.
After the cabinet extends outward, we envision a piece of stone emerging from the floor — a material that carries a sense of time.
From this stone, the rest of the space evolves: the bases of the sofa, bed, daybed, and even the desk are all derived from this structure, creating the impression that the furniture is gently placed upon it.

Original interior elements are transformed into handles or hardware — shapes that feel as if they were gently molded by hand.
As for the leather detail on the bicycle rack, the L-shaped crossbar is wrapped in leather to prevent scratches when placing the bike. The red leather echoes the red travertine used in the interior.
